Established in 1984, Martin’s Blueberry Hill is home to over 250 blueberry bushes. Enjoy bushels of fresh blueberries at this charming, u-pick orchard.

H.C. Harold Orchard

Harold Orchard is located on Willis Gap Road in the community of Ararat, VA. They grow cherries, peaches and apples. “THERE’S NUTTIN’ LIKE MOUNTAIN GROWN”

Harold Orchard is located in a very scenic portion of Patrick County, VA. Fruit trees line the ridges. A beautiful site at anytime of the year.

Spoon Mountain Farm

Spoon Mountain Farm is a WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) host farm and an airbnb destination. Currently the farm is taking a break from livestock (except for their friendly chickens) and focusing on their organic herbs. Spoon Mountain Farm is an alternative forest farm with a variety of permacultures and different types of gardens (raised, row, vertically terraced). They use no chemical fertilizers or pest control.

Guests enjoy using the farm for personal retreats to relax, work on creatives, or be one with nature.

Guests at the farm can enjoy educational wild edible harvesting walks as well as purchase seasonal herbal blends grown at the farm.

The owner, Sarah Reyburn, is also a talented artist, specializing in art cards, hand-painted silk scarves, and other fiber art pursuits. View her home studio and even purchase and go home with one of her beautiful creations, inspired by her surroundings.

Windy Hill Orchards

This small orchard has been in the Noonkester family for over 100 years. They offer pick-your-own blueberries, peaches, blackberries, grapes, and (majority) apples seasonally. All their fruit is non-GMO. The Noonkesters use a low-spray, integrated pest management system that allows you to eat the fruit right off of the tree, as nature intended.

Every Thursday, September – November, you are invited to come watch as the apples are pressed into apple cider. Don’t forget to leave with a fresh jug! They also sell apple cider vinegar, apple sauce, apple butter, jams, and dried apples.

Levering Orchard

Levering Orchard in Ararat, VA is a 3rd-generation, family-owned orchard celebrating its 114th year in 2022!

Visitors to Levering Orchard are treated to pick-your-own cherries, peaches, pears, and apples in a gorgeous mountain setting.

Fall apple season at Levering lasts from September through mid-November. They provide you with buckets and ladders and send you into their expansive orchard to experience picking the fruit right off of the tree yourself.

You can call 276-755-3593 for up-to-date information on available apple varieties.

In the Summer, you can also visit the Cherry Orchard Theatre on the property that hosts outdoor plays and music with a Blue Ridge Mountain backdrop.

Most of the plays performed were written in conjunction with orchard owner Frank Levering and feature stories that are local to the area. You can check their website for an updated theater schedule.
