Bull Mountain Arts<\/a><\/em><\/strong> – Bull Mountain Arts is a collection of local artists that meet up to support each other and collaborate on projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trail H.A.N.D.S.<\/strong><\/em><\/a> – Born from the AIR Shift Patrick County program, TRAIL HANDS, is a project that brings art and trails together to engage visitors in a meaningful and unique experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A Simpler Place in Time”<\/a><\/em><\/strong> – This community mural is located in Meadows of Dan. The mural was done by Pepper Martin and it is a part of the Appalachian Mural Trail<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pull Up a Chair<\/em><\/strong>: These hand-painted rocking chairs are scattered all around the county. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

New Deal Post Office Mural<\/a><\/em><\/strong> – This easy 0.3 mile, 20-minute loop trail is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, south of Meadows of Dan. It\u2019s great for all experience levels and features a small river, a bridge overlook, and is a great location for birding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barn Quilt Trail<\/a><\/em><\/strong> – Drive through beautiful Patrick County and peek at the unique collection of barn quilts around every corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lady Appalachia: of the Pines<\/a><\/em><\/strong>: This newly completed mural is the second in artist Jon Murrill’s<\/a><\/em><\/strong> Lady Appalachia<\/em> series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calliope: Circus of the Arts<\/a><\/em><\/strong>: Calliope is an up-and-coming art center located in downtown Stuart. Stop by on Thursdays 11am-4pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hatteras Pearl<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>– The Hatteras Pearl is your one-stop shop for up-cycled furniture, hand-made decor, and quirky gifts. The Hatteras Pearl is full of fun, colorful pieces that you won\u2019t be able to find anywhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poppy’s at Meadows of Dan<\/a><\/strong><\/em> – Poppy\u2019s is a charming little shop on the Blue Ridge Parkway that\u2019s filled with alpaca, vintage, handmade, unique gifts, collectibles, quality yarn, and an eclectic selection of new and used books.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nita’s Nook<\/a><\/em>–<\/strong> Nita\u2019s Nook is a small store filled to the brim with quirky, handmade decorations and other crafts. There\u2019s always something new being created at Nita\u2019s Nook. The store occasionally hosts classes at the Claudville store or at the Hatteras Pearl in Stuart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
